OMM celebrated the first day of Karina Smigla-Bobinski's interactive kinetic sculpture ADA on February 15.
Smigla-Bobinski’s kinetic sculpture is a large globe filled with helium and embedded with charcoal spikes that enable it to leave traces on the surfaces it encounters as it floats around the room. The nature of the marks is determined by the audience’s interaction, as well as the art-machine’s own autonomous movements.
ADA can be seen at OMM through April 12.
